Brown: Saturday’s ‘Firepower’ Honored Bo

Randy York’s NSider - Nebraska running backs coach Ron Brown and a couple dozen Husker players huddled at midfield Saturday immediately after Nebraska defeated Arkansas State, 42-13, before a national television audience. As always, Brown led the participation prayer, giving thanks for the opportunity to compete, but Saturday’s praise also included a prayer that kept Brown and players on their knees a little longer.

Story Spotlight:

Hooper, Moore earn spots on Wade Watch ListNebraska’s Jordan Hooper and Lindsey Moore were both among 25 college players named to the 2012-13 preseason Wade Watch List, announced by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Hooper and Moore become the first Husker teammates in history named to the Wade Watch list at the same time. They make Nebraska one of only five schools in the nation with two or more players on the 2012-13 Wade Watch List, joining Baylor, Connecticut, Duke, Penn State and Kansas.
