Lue Had a Chance to Play Nebraska Football

Randy York’s N-Sider - Two weeks from Friday, a Husker legend will be inducted into the Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame, and another honoree on that same night just might share an interesting tidbit with Big Red fans. He is, after all, the one who thought a point guard, who went on to play 11 years in the NBA, could have been a dandy cornerback and might have had what it takes to play in the NFL, too.

Game Spotlight:
Women’s Basketball vs. Minnesota, Sunday, Feb. 3

Warm up your cheering vocal chords before the Super Bowl at the Nebraska Women’s Basketball game against Minnesota on Sunday, Feb. 3! The game tips off at 2:05 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

The game has been selected for a Pepsi Pack the House promotion, featuring $1 general admission and $1 24-oz. Pepsi products.

In addition, the fan favorite F-M Acro Team will perform at halftime. Voted the #1 halftime show in the NBA, the F-M Acro Team has been bringing crowds to their feet since 1969 with their high flying acrobatic show.
