Doland Fans Surprise Their Hometown Hero

Randy York’s N-Sider - On Saturday afternoon, Tim Miles was walking down the steps at the Hendricks Training Complex when he “saw this line of dozens of people … all in grey shirts … and then I looked at one of those shirts and it said Doland on it,” Miles said. “I got chills. Honest to God, I got chills, and I get chills again just talking about it. I had no idea they were coming.”“They” were 56 Doland residents stepping inside a bus and heading to Lincoln, where they would surprise, even stun, their hometown hero.

Join the Football Season Ticket Waitlist

The expansion of east stadium will allow for around 3,000 more fans to obtain season tickets to Nebraska Football. Fans who are interested in getting season tickets are encouraged to join the 2013 Ticket Waitlist by following the button to the left and completing the Waitlist form. Each seat will require a $50 deposit.

To get tickets, click on the “Join 2013 Ticket Waitlist” button and fill out the waitlist form. Enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase at your desired donation level and any special instructions you wish to leave. Note that requests with a donation level attached will be fullfilled before requests without.

Fans on the 2013 Ticket Waitlist will receive notification about the option to purchase tickets after the season ticket renewal period. New season ticket seat allocations will be mailed early June. If your request has been fulfilled annual donations and the cost of the tickets will be invoiced at that time.

Fans who purchase new season tickets will have the $50 per ticket deposit applied towards the cost of those seats. Fans who are offered season tickets and decline the offer will not be refunded their $50 per seat deposit.
