Huskers Change Weekend Schedule

The Nebraska softball team has altered its schedule for its home-opening series at Bowlin Stadium this weekend. With temperatures forecast to be near 70 on Friday, the Huskers will host New Mexico State in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. The teams will meet again for a single game at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Following Friday’s second game, Nebraska Head Coach Rhonda Revelle will be honored after becoming the winningest coach in the history of Husker Athletics two weeks ago. The first 768 fans into Friday’s doubleheader will receive a free t-shirt commemorating Revelle’s accomplishment.

The Huskers bring a 16-5 record into Friday’s doubleheader, while New Mexico State is 15-10. Nebraska beat the Aggies 5-1 in the second game of the season in Las Cruces, N.M.
