Leave a legacy of support by including Nebraska Athletics in your estate plans. We invite you to join the Devaney Legacy Society and allow us to recognize you for your generous support.
Devaney Legacy Society
Proudly named after Hall of Fame Coach and Athletics Director, Bob Devaney. Members of the Devaney Legacy Society ensure there will always be No Place Like Nebraska. To be recognized in the Devaney Legacy Society, members must establish an endowed fund or document a planned gift in support of Nebraska Athletics.
Endowed Funds
Endowed funds start at $100,000, are payable over five years, and provide sustainable resources to Nebraska Athletics.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts can include bequests, life insurance, real estate, charitable gift annuities, trusts, and donor advised funds to name a few.

- Invitation to Devaney Legacy Society events
- Documented planned gifts of $100,000+ count toward Nebraska Leadership Society (NLS) lifetime membership.
- NLS Lifetime Memberships starts at $1,000,000. Example: Donor has $500,000 in lifetime giving to Nebraska Athletics and documents a planned gift of $500,000.
- Ability to award priority points to beneficiaries upon realization of gift.
- 1 point per $100 realized is awarded to up-to four (4) established beneficiaries as a one-time priority point bonus.
